Who we are
It is a public charity organization of Nepalese and Bhutanese People in USA which was established in the year 2018.The organization is officially exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) section 501(c) (3) on May 15,2019. The organization represents New American people (People from Nepal and Bhutan) who share same native language, Nepali, cultures, traditions and ethnicity and social values. ” Our priority is to search our language, arts, literature, music and culture “is the motto the organization in the diasporic communities. The organization mainly engaged in preservation and promotion of our cultural identity and share the norms and values to the younger generations by means of publication, community services, public awareness, promotion of literary, arts, language dialogue and ceaselessly endeavored in promoting good taste, creative writing and healthy reading habits to the like-minded people, and groups through seminars, lectures, symposia, discussions, readings and performances, to increase the pace of mutual understanding through workshops and individual assignments and to develop a serious literary culture and arts through the publications of journals and performances individual creative works of every genre and histories of literature. We believe in” together we walk, together we progress” and “team work makes dream”. We love to connect more expertise and neighboring communities to integrate into the main stream of American society. We always seek help to address our community member’s issues. We, faith in co-ordination and co-operation to the resourceful and expertise society for resolution our social problems. We offer volunteer services to our community and other too. शुभकामना सन्देश !
पुनर्वासपछि पहिचानको संकट र इतिहासको संघारमा अनि चुनौतीको रूपमा उत्पन्न भएको सन्दर्भमा, यदि हामीले आफ्नो धर्म, संस्कृति र पहिचानलाई जोगाइ राख्ने हो भने जस्तो सुकै परिस्थितिमा पनि; सामाजिक एकता र कर्तव्यको बोध बोक्नु तयार हुनुपर्छ । यही हेतुले हामी अमेरिकाको मेशिगन राज्यमा बसोबास गर्ने नेपाली भाषीको भेलाले, “भाषा, कला, साहित्य र संगीतको खोजाइ, हामी सबैका पहिलो रोजाइ” भन्ने मूल नाराका साथ विक्रम संवत् ( २०७५ ) सालमा ‘नेपाली साहित्य मंच मेशिगन, अमेरिकाको’ स्थापना भएको हो । सो दिनदेखि मंचले विभिन्न नूतन लौकिक कार्यक्रमका साथै विविध सामाजिक कामहरू गरेर आइरहेको सर्वप्रति अवगत हुनुपर्छ । यस मंचको उद्देश्य भनेको छरिएर रहेका साहित्यिक रचनाहरूका साथै साहित्यकार, कलाकार, संगीतकार र स्रष्टाका पहिचान आदिलाई एकै थलोमा एकत्रीकरण गरेर दर्शक श्रोता समक्ष सजिलै पुर्याउँनु हो । गुमनाम स्रष्टादेखि प्रख्यात स्रष्टासम्म, नयाँ रचनाकारदेखि स्थापित रचनाकारहरूसम्मका सृजनाहरू संकलन र प्रकाशन गर्दै जाने हाम्रो धेय हो । यहाँ हामी नेपाली भाषाका विभिन्न विधा र समाजमा विद्यमान समस्याको पहिचान तथा निराकरण र लेख-रचनाको माध्यम पस्किदै आइरहेका छौँ । यस चुनौतीको सामना गर्ने कर्तव्य हामी सबैको हो । अवसरहरू चुम्नका लागि मात्र होइन, जीवन-जीवनसम्म चुनौती र समस्याहरूको सामना गरेर अवसरहरू निर्माण गर्नु पनि हो भन्ने ठान्छौँ । आज हामी यस्तो एउटा गम्भीर कालखण्डमा उभिएका छौँ, जहाँ पुर्खाले जोगाई ल्याएको गौरवको रक्षा अनि भावी सन्ततिको चिनारी निर्माणको दोसाँधमा । अब पनि चुकियौँ भने पुर्खाको श्राप र सन्ततिको धिक्कारबाट हामी बच्न सक्ने छैनौँ । भाषा नै जातीय चिनारीको मूल आधार भएकोले पनि यसको संरक्षण र प्रवर्धन अनिवार्य भएको हामीले ठान्दछौँ । फेरि नेपाली भाषा हामी सबै जात-जाति र भाषा-भाषिहरूका साझा सम्पर्क औ विचार-विनिमय कायम गर्ने भएकाले पनि यस भाषिक अभियानमा सबैको सहयोग र समर्थन पनि नितान्त आवश्यक छ । अब कोही पनि यस अभियानबाट भाग्न पाइने छैन, त्यसैले आउँनुहोस, उठ्नुहोस अनि यस पहिचानको महासंग्रामको एउटा साँचो सिपाही बन्नुहोस् भन्ने सबैलाई आग्रह गर्न चहान्छौँ ।
अन्तमा, ‘नेपाली साहित्य मंच’ को इतिहास निर्माणमा सहभागी भएर मंचलाई यहाँसम्म ल्याउन सहयोग गर्नुहुने संस्थापक सदस्यहरू, सर्व वर्तमान कार्यकर्ता मित्रहरू र शुभचिन्तकहरूमा हार्दिक धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्न चाहन्छौँ । साथै विभिन्न संयोजक पदहरूमा रहेर काम गर्न चाहने इच्छुक साथीहरूलाई हार्दिक स्वागत पनि गर्न चाहन्छौँ । यस घडीमा मंचमा नयाँ पदाधिकारी मित्रहरूलाई बधाई दिन चाहन्छौँ ।
